Want To Know Some Easy To Do Dog Tricks?

This is Casper, my toy poodle.

Dog tricks are something that you can show off to your friends to make them see that you are a master of animal training. But dog tricks how to steps are a little bit tricky. Tricks for dogs require a whole lot of patience from owners and a lot of time as well. But how do you teach dog tricks to your pet?

Most homeowners use positive reinforcement. Whenever you want your dog to learn something, you have to give them a treat if they do it properly. Some basic dog tricks to teach are sit and lie down.

When you want to teach dog tricks or if you want to know how or what tricks to teach a dog, you have to show them how to do it. Now, you don’t literally have to show them what to do by doing it yourself. You have to show them the position.

When you’re teaching a dog how to sit, say the command “sit” and gently push the dog’s behind in a sitting position. When they’ve already done it, say “good boy” or whatever command you say to them when they’ve actually done something good and them give them a treat. Do this for four (4) to five (5) times until they are able to do it on they’re own. It might sound easy but it really takes a lot of patience and utter devotion to actually do it. It’s the same basic logic when it comes to lie down. You have to say the command “lie down” and gently push them to a lying position then give them a treat. Do this again for four (4) to five (5) times until they can actually do it whenever they hear the commands.

These are just some of the tips that you can use to show off your dogs to your friends! You don’t have to hurt your dog to do it. You just need patience and time and you can finally call yourself an animal tamer!
